Recommendations are evaluated with a consistent framework so readers can understand both the evidence and its limits.
Evaluation framework
- Define the intended user, task, and comparison set.
- Record the product version, test date, price context, and available plan.
- Evaluate setup, usability, features, performance, compatibility, support, security, and value where relevant.
- Document advantages, limitations, suitable users, and unsuitable use cases.
- Recheck material conclusions when pricing or product behavior changes.
Scoring and evidence
A score is only used when the underlying criteria are visible. Vendor claims are not treated as independent test results. Screenshots, measurements, documentation, and reproducible steps are preferred over unsupported conclusions.
Commercial independence
Payment, sponsorship, or affiliate availability does not determine the editorial conclusion. Any relevant relationship must be disclosed.
